The Challenge

The creation of a marketing guideline document to bring together all the existing brand elements for use by both the internal marketing team, and external vendors was always set to be challenging, especially as an ‘outsider’ of the firm.

To ensure that I had all the information necessary meant extensive conversations with the head of the marketing department and the lead designer.

Together we created a framework by which we could effectively communicate the rules by which we intended the users to follow. The resulting 30-page document was well received across the organisation, and is now used as a template for further off-shoot guideline documents.

The Solution

In 2021, NavVis in partnership with Geo Week News, BIMplus, Lidar News, and GIM International conducted one of the biggest and most ambitious surveys in the geospatial industry.

The report brought together the most interesting findings, with data-driven insights that the whole of the geospatial community will benefit from.

I was tasked with designing a 24-page document with all the information created from the survey, and creating designs and animations to present the top-level findings in the most engaging way possible on LinkedIn.

The result was one of NavVis’s top performing social campaigns to date.
